RESULD Baseline System:

The RESULD consortium has successfully developed and demonstrated its baseline system—a crucial first step toward digitalizing international fresh produce supply chains. This end-to-end digital infrastructure seamlessly connects proprietary systems through the innovative RESULD integration layer, creating unprecedented efficiency and data quality in cross-border trade.

At its core, the baseline system orchestrates a sophisticated data flow that begins when commercial and phytosanitary documents are captured from the Trade Logistics Information Pipeline (TLIP). Using DocHeart’s advanced extraction and validation capabilities, critical data is automatically extracted and structured according to the World Customs Organization (WCO) data model. As additional documents enter the system throughout the supply chain journey, the platform continuously cross-verifies newly extracted information against existing data, automatically identifying and resolving conflicts before they cause delays.


This intelligent validation process addresses a significant challenge in fresh produce logistics: containers detained at customs due to documentation inconsistencies. By ensuring data accuracy and completeness before arrival, the system helps protect the economic value of perishable goods that can deteriorate when delayed in customs clearance. The integration with Quayconnect completes the digital chain by automatically generating and submitting import declarations to Dutch Customs, eliminating manual processing delays.
